Correct cleaning method of crane parts for maintenance

The oil contamination of the crane parts is mainly caused by non saponified oil, dust and impurities. Non saponified oil can not work with strong base. The installation of Wuxi cranes, such as various mineral oils and lubricants, can not be dissolved in water, but can be dissolved in organic solvents. There are two ways to remove such oil pollution: chemical and electrochemical methods; commonly used cleaning fluids are organic solvents, alkaline solutions and chemical cleaning fluids; and there are two kinds of cleaning methods: manual cleaning and mechanical cleaning.

Three cleaning fluids

(1) organic solvents. Kerosene, light diesel, gasoline, acetone, alcohol and trichloroethylene are common. The oil can be dissolved by this way of dissolving, and all kinds of grease can be dissolved. The utility model has the advantages of no heating, easy operation, no damage to metal, and good cleaning effect. The disadvantage is that most of them are flammable, high cost, suitable for precision parts and unsuitable hot alkali cleaning parts, such as plastic, nylon, cowhide, felt parts and so on. But it should be noted that rubber parts can not be cleaned with organic solvents.

(2) alkaline solution. Alkaline solution is an aqueous solution of alkali or basic salt. It uses emulsifier to remove oil from emulsification of non saponified oil. It is the most widely used decontamination cleaning liquid.

Emulsification is a liquid that forms tiny grains and distributes evenly in another liquid. Adding emulsifier into the alkali solution to form emulsion can reduce the surface tension and adhesion of the oil film, and make the oil film break into tiny oil drops and then no longer return to the metal surface to remove the oil pollution. Commonly used emulsifiers include soap, sodium silicate (sodium silicate), bone glue, gum, triethanolamine, synthetic detergents, etc. It should be noted that different cleaning fluids should be used for cleaning different parts. Alkaline solution has different degrees of corrosion on metals, especially on aluminum.

When alkaline solution is used for cleaning, the solution should be heated to 80~90 C. Remove the oil and rinse with hot water. Remove the residual alkali on the surface to prevent the parts from being corroded.

(3) chemical cleaning solution. It is a water soluble metal cleaning agent prepared by chemical synthesis. The metal cleaning agent is mainly composed of surfactants and has strong decontamination capability. In addition, there are some auxiliary agents in the cleaning agent, which can improve or increase the comprehensive properties of metal cleaning agents such as corrosion resistance, rust prevention and carbon deposition.

The principle is that the cleaning solution mixed with the cleaning agent first moisten the surface of the component, then seep into the interface between the dirt and the parts, so that the dirt will fall off, disperse or dissolve from the surface of the parts, or form emulsion and suspension on the surface of the parts, so as to achieve the purpose of cleaning the parts.

Common cleaning agents for chemical cleaning fluids include LCX-52 water based metal cleaning agent, CW metal cleaning agent, JSH high efficiency metal cleaner, D-3 metal cleaner, DJ-04 metal cleaner, NJ-841 detergent, 817-C oil wash agent, CJC-8 liquid metal cleaning agent.

The preparation method, concentration, cleaning temperature and heating measures of the above cleaning agents must strictly comply with the requirements of their instructions. When hand washing, temperature should be strictly controlled, and brush and cloth should be used for cleaning. If there is serious oil contamination or coke deposition, wash with steel wire. Before washing, it should be soaked for a certain time to meet the needs of wetness and soaking. Cleaning can be divided into rough washing and fine cleaning. After cleaning, if the oil pollution is not serious, the upper floating oil stain can be skimmed and used again.

Five cleaning methods

(1) scrub. Place parts in containers containing diesel, kerosene or other cleaning fluid, scrub with cotton yarn or brush with brush. This method is easy to operate, simple in equipment, low in efficiency, and suitable for small parts. In general, it is not suitable to use gasoline, because it is fat soluble, it will damage people's health and cause fire easily.

(2) boil and wash. Put the prepared solution together with the cleaned parts into the appropriate size cleaning tank with steel plate and heat it up to 80~90 C under the pool stove and cook 3~5min.

(3) spray washing. Spray the cleaning fluid with a certain pressure and temperature to the surface of the parts to remove the oil stain. This method has good cleaning effect and high production efficiency, but the equipment is complex. It is suitable for cleaning parts whose shape is not too complicated and has serious grease stain on the surface.

(4) vibration cleaning. The parts to be cleaned are placed on the cleaning basket or cleaning rack of the vibration cleaning machine and immersed in the cleaning fluid. The vibration is generated through the cleaning machine, and the chemical action of artificial rinsing and cleaning fluid is used to remove the oil pollution.

(5) ultrasonic cleaning. The chemical action of the cleaning fluid is combined with the ultrasonic oscillation in the cleaning fluid to remove the oil pollution.

Caution: the cleaning method should be selected according to the causes and characteristics of the oil pollution, so as to ensure the normal use of the parts, avoid cleaning to cause corrosion or damage to the parts, prevent contamination of the environment and subsequent contamination of the parts.
